TL;DR

  • crowSync does NOT use your data to train any AI models.
  • We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal data or content to any third parties for any reason whatsoever.
  • If you delete a conversation, it’s gone for good and cannot be recovered.
  • You are responsible for how you use the service and the output.
  • AI output can be wrong—verify important information.
  • Paid plans (if any) are processed by Stripe.

1. Introduction

Welcome to crowSync. By using our AI-powered chat services, you agree to these Terms. We provide access to various Large Language Models (LLMs) including DeepSeek, OpenAI (ChatGPT), Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), and others.

2. Data Ownership & Usage

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the input you provide and the output generated by the AI models.

Data Sales: We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal data or content to any third parties for any reason whatsoever.

Model Training:

  • crowSync does NOT use your data to train any AI models.
  • We interact with LLM providers primarily via their API endpoints.
  • DeepSeek (API): We use API/enterprise endpoints where available; provider terms govern data handling.
  • OpenAI (API): By default, OpenAI does not use data submitted via their API to train their models.
  • Google (Vertex AI / Cloud): Google Cloud does not use customer data to train their foundation models by default.
  • Anthropic (Claude API): Anthropic does not use API data for training.

However, please do not share sensitive personal information or trade secrets in your chats.

Deleting conversations: If you choose to delete a conversation, we remove that conversation (including its messages and attachments) from your account. This is permanent and cannot be undone—once deleted, the conversation cannot be recovered.

3. Eligibility & User Responsibilities

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. You are responsible for your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for illegal activities.
  • Violate or infringe on third-party rights.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service.
  • Use outputs to develop or train competing AI models where prohibited by applicable provider terms.

4. Disclaimers

AI models can make mistakes. Output is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy. Always verify important information.

5. Payments (If Applicable)

If you purchase a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe’s terms and privacy policies. We do not store full card details.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for crowSync or other users.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
